14mm Sashi (stitching) for the receiving part, with the right side being thicker than the left to reduce impact when receiving Kote. This makes it perfect for both Keiko and Shiai. Deerskin is used for the Tenouchi (where you grip shinai), providing an exceptionally soft and supple texture along with superior breathability.
The Kote is exceptionally soft from the outset — a trait usually achieved through regular maintenance or manual shaping and molding. Despite its initial softness, it remains durable and in excellent condition for years.
Additionally, the space inside the thumb area is slightly smaller compared to standard kote on the market. This design choice provides a snugger fit, reducing the sensation of the glove and creating a seamless connection between the kote and the hand, making it feel like a natural extension.
